Hello world

It's a cold wednesday night, there is football on the TV, and I'm sat in front of my computer trying to work out what to type. When I read that sentence back it doesn't sounds right, I should be watching football. I come home from work and the last thing I want to do is carry on working on a computer. It does help that I'm on a beautiful shiny steel G5 Mac that I have filled with all my favourite films and music and photographs of my friends and family. Rather than my works industry standard, sanitized lump of circuitry that I fill with reports, graphs and slightly disturbing emails from my boss.

Why am I doing this? Well this week I've discovered that I don't actually know the internet as well as I thought. So this is the beginning of my new internet life.
